Park is closed at 10pm, except for overnight customers. Campers with a reservation that will be arriving after 10pm should call the park Headquarters before 4:30pm to obtain the gate code. My wife and I have visited several state parks to tent camp at traveling on motorcycle. Colorado bend is a new state park and is limited in facilities. The main problem is the 6 mile ride from entrance of the park to the office. The road is dirt and stone, not paved.
